Having taught piano to children and adults of all ages for more than 35
years now, The Arts Connection's director, Linda Shirley, knows well
the challenges of teaching. Taught on a one-to-one basis, in a private
lesson setting, your 4 to 8 year old is at the perfect age to begin
piano lessons.
This very successful Canadian piano method, which originated at the
Royal Conservatory in Toronto, makes it possible for young children to
learn to play the piano and enjoy music at a very young age.
Interest is stimulated through ear training, sight reading and piano
playing which are taught from the very first lesson. Students are able
to progress at their own pace, establishing a firm basis in music
theory and technique while enjoying the approach of this well proven
method.
